Picking slips Installation(eng)


Add and install the plugin


Go to WP-admin → Plugins → Add new plugin → Upload plugin
  1. Add the ZIP-filen you received when you purchased the plugin at Redlight.se
  2. Install and activate

Set up the plugin


Go to WP-admin → Pickingslips → Settings

  • License key – Enter the license key you received when you purchased the plugin at redlight.se
  • Deactivate this license - If you tick this box, the license will deactivated for this domain and you can install the plugin on another domain.
Picklist settings
  • Scan pickingslip – Tick to make it mandatory to scan the picking slip to be able to start picking
  • Order status – Specify the status of orders to be added to the picking slip
  • Minimum orders per list – Specify a minimum number of orders per picking slip
  • Maximum orders per list – Specify a maximum number of orders per picking slip
  • Set status when picking begins – Specify the status that orders should receive when picking begins
  • Set status when picking is completed – Specify the status a order should receive when picking is completed
  • Set status when is flaggad for stock-error – Specify the status that orders should receive that are marked with a "stock error"
  • Scheduled interval – Specify how often the plugin should check for orders that can be added to the picking slip
Fastpicking settings
  • Fastpicking – Tick to enable the option for fast picking (orders with single item end up on one large list)
    The picker picks up all items according to the list.
    At the packing table (with the Orderscanner Packstation plugin), the item is scanned and a shipping lable and delivery note for the order are printed.
Heavy settings
  • Heavy picking - Tick to activate the option for "Heavy picking", orders over a certain weight will end up on these lists
  • Heavy weight limit (kg) - Enter the minimum weight that orders must have to be placed on the Heavy picking list
Debugging
  • Debug Log – Tick to log events, logs are found via WooCommerce → Status → Logs

Additional settings and features


Add a Shelf location

Go to Products → Edit product → Product data → Inventory.
In the "Shelf Location" field, you can add a shelf location for the product.
If a shelf location is available for the products, the picking list can be sorted so that products are picked in the order of the location, which provides a more efficient picking flow.
Add a picking comment
Go to Products → Edit product → Product data → Inventory.
In the "Pickingslip comment" field, you can add a comment that will be displayed when the product is to be picked.

Use the plugin


Print pickingslips
Generated pickingslips can be downloaded and printed manually if you go to WP-admin → Pickingslips.
Click on the PDF symbol under "Actions".
To print pickingslips (delivery notes with pick list number on them) automatically, you need the Automatic printing plugin.
Once the plugin is installed, go to WooCommerce → Settings → Automatic printing
  1. Scroll to "Automatic printing - Packingslips"
  2. Tick "Print pickinglist when created"
  3. Save
Start the picking
Go to WP-admin → Pickingslips → Pickingslips
  1. Scan or type the picking slip number to start picking
Generate Picking slip
Go to WP-admin → Pickingslips → Tools

Here you can generate a picking slip by pressing a button, can for example be used if there are fewer orders than specified under "Minimum number of orders" and you want to force a picking slip to be created.

Repport a stock error

During picking, the picker can report a balance error by swiping right on the item.
